About Frank Zerjav
The recipient of a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Saint Louis University, Frank Zerjav has dedicated over 40 years to assisting clients with their tax planning and other financial needs. Throughout his career, Zerjav has advised thousands of business owners and high-net-worth individuals across the country from the Westport area of St. Louis County, Missouri. He is the founder and CEO of the Advisory Group and Zerjav & Associates, Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, Frank Zerjav maintains equity ownership of business services, financial services, management, accountancy, real estate, and other types of companies.
At the Advisory Group, Frank Zerjav enhances the accounting process for small and mid-sized entities in the law, health care, retail, and computer technology industries. The guidance provided by Zerjav allows them to improve their record keeping while maintaining data for tax purposes. The Advisory Group teams with CPAs and other tax professionals to perform a number of specialized services. This is achieved by providing tax related services of all kinds - in both compliance and planning for individuals, professionals and business owners and in areas that are relevant to tax matters including deferred compensation, exit, estate, retirement, and strategic planning, plus entity structuring, asset protection, and profit enhancement. Their goal has been to have a great firm, the best, rather than to be a big firm.
Through Zerjav & Associates, Frank Zerjav handles a variety of tax concerns. In addition to offering advanced tax planning strategies and preparing income tax returns, Zerjav makes recommendations regarding real estate taxation, business succession planning, estates, wills, and trusts that can reduce or eliminate tax risks. Furthermore, individuals who are being audited or who are involved in a dispute with the Internal Revenue Service can benefit from his advice on avoiding added taxes, penalties, and interest charges.
In addition to these accomplishments, Frank Zerjav has garnered national attention for his tax planning strategies. A regular speaker at national tax events, he also writes white papers and the Tax Tips Newsline®, which inform readers about ways that they can manage their taxes. This monthly publication provides general tax law updates, information on general filing requirements, general business insights or economic information and analysis, plus tax compliance tips, from data compiled from various sources. These publications represent the latest thinking on a variety of important topics.
